Pet care experience
Hi there! I am currently a PhD student at Brown. I miss having my own pets around, and I can't wait to meet your furry family members! I grew up with dogs in the house and after I graduated high school I started fostering dogs. I love to jog and hike, and I would love to take your dog with me! I am comfortable with all types of dogs, and all ages. I can work with any special needs your dog may have. In the past I've cared for deaf and blind dogs, those recovering from surgery, and those needing certain medications. I also have experience training puppies. My most recent success is teaching my parents' new pup to roll-over!

Emily had watched my two pups over a 10 day period. She was very consistent in contact and ensured that any details were not missed. She took the dogs on walks and hikes (even sent pictures of them on the mountain). I felt very assured that my pups, that I love so much, were in good hands and were having a great time! I absolutely recommend Emily and I will be sure to contact her next time I'm out of town.
Growing up, Emily took care of my dog and numerous other pets and enjoyed doing so. When she went to college she started fostering many different dogs that were always a joy to have around! Every time I saw them their manners had improved and they'd even learned a few tricks! I'd always trust her with my dogs and you should too!

I am not able to have dogs in my apartment, but in other's homes, I keep the dog out and actively playing when I am visiting! Let me know your pet's favorite activities so I can keep them having fun and engaged.

A typical day
I took the last dog I pet sat exploring in a few locations! I enjoy getting out for a brisk walk or jog and it is so much better with a dog for company! I love visiting dog parks as well, if your dog has experience with them!

Availability
I am a grad student so my most available times are weekends, and early mornings and in the evenings during the week. Depending on proximity to the Brown campus, I will likely be able to visit during in the middle of the day, but would have to confirm on an individual basis. I will be sure to communicate ahead of time to be sure we can find the right schedule to keep your pup active and give them their potty breaks!
