Emily has watched both of my dogs, Darla the 3 year-old pit-basenji mix and Dingo the puppy corgi-chihuahua, on multiple occasions. When they see her both get excited and don't seem to mind that this means I will be leaving them soon. This means a lot to us because Dingo suffers from separation anxiety. Emily does a good job calming him and keeping him distracted from our absence. She keeps the pups busy! Once I dropped my pit mix off with Emily and when I returned, a mere hour later, Emily had taught Darla how to roll over. (I have not been able to teach her any tricks since so I don't know how Emily achieved this.) While I'm away I always get pictures of them on walks or at the park so I know they are staying active. I also enjoy the pictures because, let's be honest, I miss them while I am away. They get lots of treats and toys and playtime. Emily is always the first person I turn to when I will be away since I know my dogs will be in good hands.
