Other than growing up around many different types of dogs, I have experience caring for those with various health issues. I grew up with my family’s Pomeranian who lived to be 18 years old! In his old age he lived with only me and was eventually diagnosed with a heart murmur which I managed up until his passing in 2021. Due to his illness, I am familiar with administering different oral medications on a schedule. In 2020 I rescued a shar pei mix named Wally and he unfortunately had to undergo heart worm treatment due to previous neglect. He’s now happy, healthy, and the biggest cuddler you’ll ever meet! I’ve had experience providing insulin shots to dogs with diabetes and managing dogs with incontinence issues. It sometimes takes lots of patience to care for animals and I think I’ve got it!
