Hi! My name is Emily. I’m an retired D1 athlete who is in denial that she’s done, but has been glad to move forward in life pursuing her passions working with animals. I work as a personal aide for a young woman w/ Autism through HCS, Head Coach of rowing at Nazareth College, and in the winters as a ski instructor. I graduated from the University of Tulsa in May 2016, and will likely pursue my masters after a few years of living life post-devoting my life to rowing. I live at an apartment on my own in Fairport, with a few fuzzy friends. Few people can understand how much a pet means to the family—they aren’t just a pet but a member of the family. My family is Bristol, my mini Aussie Shepherd who is 2yr old and Pippin, my 6yr cat who came with me from Tulsa. My best friend was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who lived until she was 15, and losing her in 2017 carved a huge chunk of me. Crinkles was the best part of my life, and Pippin + Bristol remind me everyday how thankful I am to be alive. I have experience owning a chameleon who is three, Pascal and taking care of a Hermann’s Box Tortoise with the young woman with autism. Taking care of your family member would be an honor, so let me know all about your fuzzy ball so I can take care of him/her the best way possible! I’ve become very good friends with some past clients, and continued looking after their dogs even now. I look forward to hearing from you! My work schedule is very flexible, and I’m willing to make anything work while caring for your furbabies. After 2pm in summer months I’m free for the rest of the day. Trust is hugely important, and transparency means that you know my dog Bristol will be around. I have access to a fenced in park at my apartment complex, and will crate your pup if you’d like.
