Animal lover looking to help others

Pet care experience

Growing up, I was surrounded by animals and they always made me so happy and content. And although caring for pets can be extremely stressful at times, it is all worth it. Pet sitting actually just kind of happened for me. I’ve had family, friends, friends of family, the families of friends, etc. reach out to me about walking their dogs, stopping in for care and love, house sitting, and dog boarding for a few years now. Before now, I have never even advertised for it. People just thought of me when they considered someone to care for their babies, and I find that to be one of the biggest compliments! I truly do love it. I love forming different kinds of bonds with every animal I come in contact with, which makes it so special. Since I was young, everyone called me the ‘cat whisperer,’ and it has stuck with me since. I love to help you and give your babies the love they need while you are out. Due to corona virus, I am currently unemployed so I am home full time. Currently, all my time is open and flexible. I figured I would get on here and try to help others while we all try to get through these uncertain times. I live in my parents’ house at the time, in which they are both here, as well as my boyfriend. Everyone loves having pups around, whether it’s through business or play. It is a big yard, but there is no fence. We can work together to find the best schedule and activities for your animal and you can decide if you’d like your dog on a line or multiple walks throughout the day. We often go to a trail by us and walk our dog (sometimes our cat too!). I have a 10 year old chihuahua and 2 kitties. The chihuahua can take a little bit of time to get used to animals sometimes, but if he’s not interested, he just ignores. Although extremely energetic Dogs do intimate him a lot due to his small size. But, he thinks he is the toughest dog out there.

I have known Emily for a while now and would consider her family. She is one of the most caring people I know and her love for animals goes above and beyond. She takes care of our puppy kids like they're her own when we are away! If you are looking for someone you can trust and will take care of your animal kids like you would, she's your girl!

Our dogs love Emily! She stayed at our house with them the whole week we were away, and she even sent us pictures during that time. She went above and beyond just watching our dogs. To be honest I’m almost sure they like her better than us. We definitely recommend her, she is truly a dog whisperer.

Depending on how dog is around other dogs, the dog park is always an option. Only if that is something you are comfortable with, of course. My favorites places to walk are most definitely local trails, though! Toys are welcome, as well as recommendations. Playtime is great, but our chi is a couch potato and we lack them here.
