Pet care experience
Hey! I'm Emily and I'm a graphic designer working full-time, which limits my weekday hours, but I am happy to help out with walks/dropins in the evenings or boardings/daycare on weekends! I love to hike and run, but I also love lazy days, so I will adapt to your dog's activity level. I LOVE to take and send photos/videos so you can expect plenty (maybe too many😂) of updates on your dog or cat! My experience includes owning my current dog, Mocha, as well as dogs and cats growing up, volunteering at humane societies (HSHV in Michigan, PAWS in Illinois), being a professional dog walker outside of Rover for several years, and pet sitting bajillions of times on or off Rover. I also foster shelter dogs and cats in between dogsitting jobs! I know leaving your beloved pet with a stranger is daunting, so feel free to reach out and get to know me before making your decision! I'm happy to do in-person or video call Meet & Greets.

Emily was FANTASTIC! She sent constant updates of our girl having the most fun time and kept her busy all day with adventures and cuddles. She was incredibly responsive and happy to do a meet and greet prior to booking. When our plans changed last minute she was very flexible and accommodating. I cannot recommend her enough!

A typical day
I love to take my canine clients to nearby dog parks and around my friendly neighborhood area. One way or another I will make sure your pup gets some great exercise and is ready for a nap afterward! If you have any special spots your dog likes to frequent, let me know and I'll make sure we visit! If I'm caring for your cat (or other critters), you can expect the litter box to stay nice and fresh and that your kitties will get pets and playtime until their hearts are content.
