Pet care experience
I am a Reliable, Flexible, Animal Lover!! I am able to be flexible with what your dog's needs; whether its a walk around the block or a couple hours of running or hiking! I have grown up with dogs in my family home (medium-large breeds). I got my start with housesitting in childhood, feeding animals and watering plants, and after getting more experience over time; I have plenty of experience being fully responsible for someone's home while they are away, during the day and overnight! I am respectful of the home; the animals and humans that share it! I have a degree in Animal Science from California State University, Chico. I have basic veterinary experience and ample knowledge of domestic animals, including livestock! Therefore, I am comfortable with many different types of animals; all sizes! Also, I am able to keep up your yard for you, if you have the tools (Discuss details with me). I am more than happy to stay the night to keep your animals comfortable and cared for. I have a passion for animals and I would love to care for your dog(s) and other animals while you have to be away! I do require a meet and greet in your home before booking to make sure we are a good fit! A meet and greet includes: me visiting your home to meet you, you pet(s), and learning their care routine!

Emily was phenomenal. She was able to accommodate us and our two doggos by house sitting last minute when we couldn’t find anyone to watch them. We LOVED working with her. We have a fearful dog and she was so gentle that our Diogo opened up to her only a day in! The other dog has some resource guarding and Emily wasn’t scared at all but kind and patient. We got daily updates and just knew our home and dogs were in a safe hands. 10/10 would recommend and we’ll definitely be booking her again.
Our Frida is a special pooch that doesn't let just anyone into her inner circle. But Emily somehow managed to crack Frida's hard candy exterior and earned her trust and love. Emily watched Frida on 2 occasions, once for 5 days and another time for 14 days. In both instances, Emily sent updates and pics and always informed us if anything was amiss (like storm drive ant invasion). We were able to enjoy our time away knowing that Frida was in good hands. Thank you, Emily!
Emily took great care of Duchess and our home. Emily was incredibly reliable and communicative, sending pictures and frequent updates. Highly recommend!

I would like to know their level of training, and what commands to use (especially if I'm taking them out on walks or to the park) and what things they like most! Also, if there are any rules that the dog needs to obey. It would also help to know any special health needs/problems and how much activity they need and can handle. Knowing what level of attention or presence of their owner throughout the day is important as well! I prefer to be showed during the meet and greet where the food, treats and other supplies are, and how to put on halters and use medicines.
