My husband and I both love animals immensely but we will have careers that would not be in a dog's best interest. I raised and trained a dog in high school and we have both have raised cats. My friends and family members often call me whenever they go out of town so I also have a lot of experience with new animals. We have also both volunteered at the Madison County Humane Society and both love animals so much that we are both vegetarian (although we do feed animals their natural meat diets, so don't fear haha). I cannot think of a better home for any pet because we only signed up for Rover because we missed having animals in our lives. I think my husband also wanted to sign me up so that I will stop dragging him to animal shelters to look at the cute cats and puppies. If your dog is up for the challenge, I would love to take him/her on jogs as well. I am no where near too fast for a dog, but I realize that most animals don't get the exercise that they need and I would love to help bump up their activity level if the dog is fit enough and up for it.
