Pet care experience
My friends and family call me the dog whisperer. I find all types of dogs are comfortable with me around, regardless of their typical behaviors. I love all dogs. I'm very good with all breeds and temperaments. I've been dog sitting for 20 years, a dog owner for 30 years, and a dog trainer for 7 years. Your dogs will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. Sadly, I cannot own all of the dogs, so I dog sit!

Wow! We got so lucky finding Emily at Rover.com! We had never used an out of town doggy day care before and we found a gem! We were a little worried about the heat in Phoenix for our two Labs and our poodle.....but Emily had a swimming pool and it made our dog's stay a real vacation for them too as they love to be in water. We also got to meet Emily's two very sweet dogs Cody and Ellie. We were able to enjoy watching our Cubs play, while we felt very comfortable leaving our dogs under Emily's care.
Emily has been a caring pet owner for most of her life, currently having owned two cats for over a decade and two dogs for 10 and 4 years. They have all always received ample attention and love. She occasionally takes care of vacationing friends' pets, with plenty of room at her house and a large pet door to the fenced-in backyard, and the canal trail is only a block away for convenient, safe walks.
Emily has cared for my two small dogs many times. My dogs are always well taken care of and happy with her. They get plenty of exercise, attention, and snuggles when with Emily! Emily has stayed at my house while watching my dogs and is very respectful and clean in my house. She has also taken my dogs to her house and my dogs always have fun hanging out with her very friendly dogs. Emily is very communicative and sends me updates and pictures of my dogs while I'm traveling so I know what they are up to! I highly recommend Emily as a pet sitter or dog walker. A typical day
We go on daily walks on the canal path behind my home. I try to get the dogs to play and run for exercise. I spend one-on-one cuddle time with each dog multiple times a day. An every dogs favorite, is treats! I do morning treats after "all dogs out" for morning potty break, then we do a bed time treat to signal settling down for bed.
