Pet care experience
I've had both cats and dogs since I was a little kid, and I care for two beautiful cats now. I have experience giving stubborn pets their medication, as well as walking and socializing with them.

As per usual Emily goes above and beyond, she took care of my cats for 2 weeks, risked her life trying to collect one of them from the roof when they have a little adventure and always very responsive and great! Highly recommend her
Emily is so sweet a nice! She came to help with our two cat, last minute, even though she usually doesn’t do that she saw our need. She was extremely helpful, our automatic litter box got stuck and she kept trying for at least half an hour to try and fix it. She was amazing with the cats and even our shy cat became friendly with her. Really recommend!!
As per usual Emily goes above and beyond, what a relief to have her around

I have no specific method for pet care during drop-ins. I just make sure that there is open communication between myself and the owner, and that pets are clean, fed, have access to water, and are engaged for however long they need. *I am unable to board pets in my own home at the moment because I have two cats of my own and there is not enough space for them to share with strangers.

I really appreciate open communication! If you will be in an area that has low service or a situation where you don't want to be disturbed, please let me know if: *Your pet has any known health conditions that I need to keep an eye on *Your pet has food or toy aggression or is territorial *Your pet has any allergies *Your pet does not appreciate the smell of cats (because I own two) *and anything else that you consider important that you would like me to keep in mind! Also, in case of emergency, if your pet does not have a specific veterinarian listed in their profile and if you have not disclosed a vet to me in person, and if you are not answering phone calls at the time of the emergency, then I will take your pet to the nearest clinic.
A typical day
I can accommodate energetic dogs and am able to play and run with them, but I also can respect a lazy dog! I will only work with them within their comfort level. As for cats, mine absolutely adore their laser pointer toy, and I am more than happy to bring it to a cat sitting appointment! If your pets have any other favorite items, feel free to let me know ahead of time and I'll see if I can bring some!

****I am currently moving from Virginia to California, and will reschedule and edit my information once I get settled in. I will be available again starting on memorial day weekend! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!**** I work an odd schedule, so I try to plan everything at least a day ahead of time. I am available during all hours on the days that I commit to pet care.
