Hello! I have been working with Rover since January of 2018. Growing up, I always had at least one pet in the house, and I currently own two cats, Charlie and Minnie. I am comfortable with small, medium, and large dogs. I am also available for cat sitting, as well as taking care of small animals and freshwater fish. I will make sure your pet receives exactly what he/she needs, whether it be a nice long walk, extra attention and cuddles, or some good old fashioned spoiling. I want to have the opportunity to get to know your pet and their specific needs. I want to work with you as a pet parent to ensure that your pet receives the highest quality of care. Emily did a wonderful job pet sitting our two cats while we were on vacation! She is a true pet lover. Getting daily updates and pictures really helped ease our minds while we were away. She took very good care of both of my pets, was very reliable, responsive and gave them some play time each day, which is great! I would like to know if your animal is a rescue from any kind of neglect or violence. It is important to understand what might upset animals that come from a stressful or traumatic background. I would also appreciate knowing if your pet has any behaviors I should be aware of, such as dog reactivity, dog selectivity, leash reactivity, food guarding, or a general dislike of men or women. I would also like to know how much and what kind of training your dog has, just so I can get a general idea of what their behavior might be like out on walks or in the home.
A typical day
I will provide a walk in your neighborhood. I cannot provide transportation to other locations, but will happily take dogs to a dog park within walking distance if they are regular attendees! I also love to provide snuggles to both dogs and cats, and can play a mean game of fetch.
