Pet care experience
🌴 Welcome to my Pet Paradise! With two lively dogs and three friendly cats who embrace every new friend, your fur babies are sure to feel right at home. ✨As a passionate pet sitter with over 5 years on Rover, I’ve become an expert in dog body language and managing multiple dogs of different temperaments. I always introduce dogs one-on-one and monitor their behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. 🌞⛱️🛋️ My large backyard is the perfect oasis for your dog, whether they enjoy sun bathing, playing, sniffing, or simply taking care of business. And when it’s time to come in, my living room offers plenty of space for pups to play, chew bones, or snuggle. Weather permitting, dogs are free to come in and out through the dog door as they please. 👋🏻 Let's get to know each other! Please fill out your pet's profile before booking or answer the questions at the end of my profile. From there, we can schedule a meet-and-greet for a perfect match. Looking forward to making your pet's stay a joyful experience! 🐾❤️
Reviews
Excellent as always
She has a great yard for the dogs and sends pictures! We feel very comfortable leaving them with her.
fantastic - super helpful and easy to communicate! Love the pics :)
Emily was exceptional. She sent pictures and updates and our dogs had a great time. She did a meet and greet with us beforehand that made everything feel much more comfortable (we’ve never left our dogs with anyone before).

🥰 Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I'm here to offer all the attention and any additional care they might need. Whether it's extra cuddles, specific feeding routines, or administering medications, I'm dedicated to ensuring your furry family member receives the personalized care that makes their stay comfortable and stress-free. 🐶 At this time I can only accept dogs over 1 year. Please note that for older dogs, consistent indoor accidents will incur additional charges to my puppy rate. 🎄During holidays, my home is buzzing with activity. If your dog thrives on excitement, they're in for a treat. Otherwise, I'm happy to create a calmer environment. But if your pet is severely anxious in an active home, we may not be the best match.

Information Emily D. would like to know about your pet
‼️Considerations: While I strive to accommodate all pets, there are instances where I might not be the ideal option for your pet. Since I have cats, I am unable to accept dogs with a history of harming cats. However, I am perfectly comfortable with dogs who have no experience with cats. Additionally, I am unable to take in dogs that have a severe resource guarding in order to ensure the safety of all animals in my home. If your dog has a history of severe anxiety when separated from you and cannot be safely crated or is prone to jumping a 5-foot fence, it may be best to consider other options for their well-being. Lastly, if your dog soils their crate or cannot independently go potty outside/they lift their leg on outdoor furniture, it may be more suitable for them to find alternative accommodations. ⁉️Information I need to know about your dog(s): How do they behave with other dogs? How do they behave with cats? Do they resource guard? How do they ask to go potty? Do they have any food sensitivities? Are they crate trained or how do you leave them when you’re away or to sleep at night? Do they chew bedding/blankets when unattended? Do they have any triggers or sensitivities? If your dog is male, do they left their leg and are they respectful of outdoor furniture? ✅ Packing List: •sealed bag of food with scoop (written daily amount either with their belongings or on their pet profile please) & any daily supplements/chews just for them •collar and tag (required for safety reasons. If they come without, I have extras) •leash •optional: a blanket if they have one/don’t chew ❎ No need to bring bowls, toys/bones, crates or beds unless requested. Thank you!
A typical day
☀️ A typical day includes a morning potty break and playtime before a separated meal time and at least an hour rest to digest and prevent bloat. Afternoons typically consist of lots of playing and napping until another meal and rest time. I am often out in the yard supervising and playing fetch. Dogs have numerous opportunities to do their business outside throughout the day, but unfortunately I am unable to provide daily walks.

🗓️ While I'm usually home throughout most of the day, I do step out occasionally, making sure to not be gone more than 4-6 hours, depending on the needs of the dogs. I always crate or separate dogs while I am out of the house. Please let me know how you leave your dog at home and if they have any destructive tendancies. I always make frozen enrichment kongs for when I leave the house. Please let me know if your dog has any food sensitivities.
