Dog Lover & Spoiler

Pet care experience

I have 10+ years of experience caring for all kinds of dogs, cats, and my own 3 guinea pigs. My experience started with caring for our family dog, then by helping my mother with her small, self-run pet sitting “business”, and eventually I started watching animals on my own. I’ve watched many cats & dogs of different breeds, big and small, young and old, female and male, energetic and calm, you name it. Almost all of our clients have become repeat clients! I love animals like I would if they were my kids and sometimes might care for them too much. I’ve always gone above and beyond besides just making sure animals are fed and go to the bathroom. I make sure they get all the attention they could want and need, walk and play with them until they’re wore out, and make sure they’re happy in general! They’ll never be ignored or mistreated, and I’ll always listen to any instructions you give me :) This goes for all cats too! Just so you can be sure your pet or pets are happy, cared for, and safe, I send pictures and videos all throughout the time i’m watching them! (warning: I might send more than you want, I apologize in advance haha!) Since I know you may be busy, feel free to not have to respond to every picture. It’s just for your enjoyment and peace of mind. If you choose me to watch your pet, just know I will treat them like they are my own, and you’ll never be disappointed!

She did great with Sadie and was exceptional with her communication and flexibility. They went to the park, car rides, you name it. All the while, Emily sent pictures to ensure everything was going swell. Will be using again in the future!

Emily was amazing with our cat, Constantine. She kept me posted daily with updates on her disposition and behavior. She was very tuned in to Constantine's needs. I would recommend Emily as a pet sitter 100%!

I would use Emily again. She’s very good at communicating and took good care of our dog, Stella. Stella played daily with the family dog and others that came over for a “play group” (Emily’s mom watches some dogs too). She went for daily walks and even took Stella to the pet store once. We felt Stella was in very good hands.

We are sooo picky about our dog sitters, and when our amazing regular dog sitter got deployed, we had to go on a search! Well after meeting and going to at least 10 other meet and greets, we finally found Emily and couldn’t be happier! First of all, Bear loved her and her entire family and house from the moment he walked in. He was so happy and relaxed and you could tell he felt “at home”.. and that, to us, is the most important thing. **Also, Bear is a little spoiled... so it’s hard for us to leave him with people who don’t fully understand just how spoiled he is.. He sleeps in our bed, stays on the couch when we go to work for the day, and never stays in a kennel. And that’s a lot to ask for, but Emily totally understood us and made us feel so comfortable with how Bear would be taken care of. Emily sent so many pictures and videos and I loved being able to see how much fun Bear was having.. he made a new best doggy friend while he was there too, and I knew he probably wouldn’t even want to come home! And when we picked him up, he really didn’t want to leave! Bear can’t wait to come back and stay again soon! :)

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, which may not always be as spacious as a house but there are sidewalks and plenty of areas to go on a walk nearby my complex, as well as a balcony for some fresh air time. I obviously do not have a fenced in yard, but there are two dog parks in my complex, right near my building, available for dogs to run around in safe & secured. We do have 3 guinea pigs, but they will make no contact with your fur babies. They will not be left alone together, and will be in separate rooms if I am not home. Dogs can be crated if needed/wanted.

Information Emily D. would like to know about your pet

How old are they? Are they good with other dogs? Humans/kids? (Ever attacked anyone/any animals?) What breed are they? Any allergies? Do they ever have accidents? Are they difficult walkers (i.e. pull a lot, stop every 2 seconds, chase after other little animals to where you can’t hold on to them)? Favorite things to do/eat?

A typical day

We will go on walks in the neighborhood or go to a park, apartment complex dog park, etc, play tug of war, ball, or any toy of their choosing, and get some treats of course! I don’t have a backyard but we have a designated fenced in dog area to run around and play in.
