*BOOKINGS OPEN FOR DEC-MARCH* Hi! I'm Emily and I'm a final year veterinary medicine student at the University of Edinburgh. I'm from Hong Kong and I've had dogs since I was 6 years old. I currently have three dogs of my own who I miss very much - all three are high-energy big dogs, so I will have no problem at all taking care of dogs who require lots of attention and exercise! I've done quite a bit of dogsitting both in Hong Kong and in Edinburgh, and since I'm a vet student I've spent time at dog rescues, kennels and clinics. I am trained in pet first aid, medication administration and any special needs your pet may have. I've also worked with a number of dogs with separation anxiety, aggressive tendencies etc. to name a few! It goes without saying that I absolutely love dogs, and it would be amazing if I could have some doggy company here in Edinburgh as well! Looking forward to meet and spend time with your lovely dogs:)

Emily was so lovely and attentive with our dog Rosa. Rosa is a rescue dog and can be a bit worried, but immediately took to Emily. Emily was very caring about making sure Rosa could keep to her routine and settle well. She also sent us lots of pictures and updates so that we could be reassured that Rosa was happy. Emily watched over my dog Stella (large shepherd mix) over the winter holidays for nearly 2 weeks and was absolutely lovely. We met beforehand on a short walk and being a vet student with dog sitting experience I knew Stella would be in good hands. I received various updates daily, with photos, while at home getting pets and out for walks. I was out of town for the duration of Stella’s boarding and ended up being delayed on the way home and Emily was super accommodating, which was very much appreciated :) I’d recommend Emily to anyone looking for a sitter!
Emily put Arlo at ease really quickly and he had a lovely day with her. She sent plenty of updates and photos and it was obvious he was relaxed and happy

Information Emily C. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know how your dog behaves around strangers or other dogs so that I can be extra aware of what might potentially stress them out when we're out on walks. I also like to know about the dog's daily routine, so I can make sure they're as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
A typical day
I'd be happy to take them on walks to the Meadows/ Pentlands/ the beach! Unfortunately I don't have a car so fun day trips out are restricted to dogs that are okay with taking public transport:)

I am home most of the time but on weekdays may have to have in-person classes on campus - but generally not for more than 3 - 4 hours at a time.
