Pet care experience
I have been working with all different types of animals for around 4 years ranging from farm animals to exotic to household pets this has led me to achieving an animal care diploma level 3. i already have experience in caring for animals due to jobs or peoples recommendations such as walking, feeding, bathing and much more. I currently run my own dog walking/sitting business called THEBARKPARK.LDN which is mainly based in Dulwich and Peckham, but are still able to take on jobs out of our catchment area! so check our website and social media out!☺️🩷

Emily recently looked after my 2 little doggos, she replied to my request super fast, all communication was very fast, she is great with pets they took a liking to her very quickly which was reassuring to me as this was the first time I was making use of such a service. Emily kept me in the loop for the duration of the booking by sending regular updates with pictures. I will definitely make use of her service again Not much else to say other than thank you very much Emily and if you’re looking for a pet minded sitter/walker definitely give Emily a call.
Emily regularly comes in to look after our cat Athena when we are away overnight. We always know that Athena is in really safe hands: Emily clearly loves animals and she formed a bond with Athena really quickly. Emily is reliable and friendly and is great at sharing photos and videos so we know our cat is happy and cared for. Emily is always our first choice of pet sitter
I have a pet corn snake, a dwarf hamster and three cats. I asked Emily to look after them on two occasions, first time was just for a day and second time was for a few days whilst I was away and I have only good things to say. She sends videos and pics via WhatsApp so If you’re worried about your pet, she’ll keep you updated no matter what. My cats play with my hamster in the ball but must always be watched and she kept him safe. I recently got an XL Bully a few months ago and she’s walked him a few times. I’m very happy with her services xx

Unfortunately i wouldn’t be able to board in my own home so there is a few safety tips i have for staying at a clients house. for example keys, it’s safer if your keys are left in a key box so we can both keep your keys safe. if you have a cleaner or gardener coming in and out the house they may not shut a gate or door properly so i will also make sure everything is locked and shut when possible this will be done by triple checking before i leave the premises. each home that i look after will also be kept in the same state it was left in, the dogs/cat bowls will be cleaned, trash taken out if needed etc.

there is a few important things i’d need to know when a head of time. for example is your dog allowed of the lead? (recalled trained) is there any aggressive behaviour within your dog? (towards a certain breed or just in general) is your dog still intact? (this will make it easier for me to understand if your dog is reacting a certain way to other dogs) do they get along with everyone? (men,female and children in the parks so i can make sure to put them on lead) - if they have any triggers? does your dog have a favourite treat? (this could help me bond with your dog or be used for recall in the park)
A typical day
i’d love to be able to stimulate your dogs mentally and physically by playing lots of games (their favourite toy) or ball games in the park, depending where i’m staying i may know a new park which will allow them to stimulate their senses. normally the walk will consist up to an hour depending on the age of your dog, this allows them enough time to interact, play and go to the toilet.

I currently work for myself running a dog walking and sitting business monday to friday between 10am-3pm, which give me plenty of times to fit other sits/walks into my schedule, I even work on weekends which is 24 hours so this is good for sits, pop ins and even walks!
