Pet care experience
I have lots of experience taken care of dogs. I grew up with golden retrievers, Labrador retrievers, York shire terriers, Malteses, and Shih tzus. My family has always been big on dogs! After moving out of my parents I wasn't quite ready commit to a lifelong companionship of a dog so instead I spent about 3 years fostering. So I've dealt with many sickly dogs, and many dogs struggling to get adjusted. This experience solidified my ability to care to different dogs and accommodate their situation. I did recently adopt a senior dog so if you bring your doggo to my place she'll be there but she mostly keeps to herself :)

Emily was so kind and communicative for my drop I’m visits scheduled this last week. She made Milo feel cared for during a very busy week for me! She sent pictures and videos of every visit and scheduled a meet and greet before to ensure she understood everything with Milo. Grateful to have found her on River!
Tony seemed to love Emily during our meet and greet. She sent me lots of updates while they were together this morning and he was very relaxed in the crate when I returned home!
Emily was great with Juno! She sent lots of pictures/updates throughout the day. He also got lots of walks and attention. Highly recommend!

I do have a senior dog in my home although she keeps to her self and will stay in my room while your dog is visiting if you would like some separation. Otherwise there are no major restrictions at we have plenty of toys!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. I can be pretty flexible for any special requests. I am specially used to old dogs so no worries if your dog needs to take things slower.
A typical day
I love to have fun with the dogs I'm taking care of! There's a big park near my house we can walk to specially now that the weather is getting nicer! Even after walking we can just sit and enjoy the grass. I love the outdoors and I'm sure your dog will too!

I am available for boarding most nights. During the day, I generally have a flexible schedule as I work from home and can make sure to carve out time for your pet needs.
