-I grew up with dogs (one was taught to hunt with my father) -I have been dog-walking, running, and pet-sitting for the past 10+ years (for dozens of dogs, cats, and chickens). We moved to Santa Cruz about a year ago. -I can provide behavioral modification-style training (with or without treats) to correct pulling, jumping, and other problem behaviors. -I currently own a 6 year-old dog that I rescued from Cape Verde as a puppy. She gets along well with everyone! She's a great role model for other dogs I've worked with in the past. We are frequent visitors to local parks and dog-friendly trails. -I also worked for a year at a pet boarding facility for dogs and cats. -We're a foster family for the SPCA. I'm up early to walk my own dog and currently work part-time. My schedule is pretty flexible until I find a full-time job, and I have my own car. We have a fenced yard. My fiance works from home and is around most of the day. I'm happy to stay at a client's home if that's what they prefer, I have experience with house-sitting and doing drop-ins.
