Pet care experience
I grew up with animals my entire life (particularly German Shorthairs) and have extensive experience pet sitting many other breeds of all ages and sizes, as well as other pets including turtles, chickens, lizards, birds and cats. I love dogs and live a very active lifestyle, including lots of running and hikes. I am comfortable with all sizes and breeds but am especially skilled at handling larger more ‘energetic’ breeds like hunting and bird dogs, I understand their need for constant exercise! I have a flexible schedule so I’m able to tailor my day to your pets’ needs. I am also comfortable administering any necessary medications or following any needed routines.

Emily has shared her life with dogs--she was born into a family that had a German Shorthair Pointer, so she grew up with active dogs. Over time, they had five GSPs from the same dog family line, and she treated them like the family members that they were! I admire the care and love that she gives to dogs, especially by ensuring that they get a lot of outdoor walks and activity. So my daughter Emily is an animal lover. She is a STRICT vegetarian, not because she didn't like meat, but because she cannot support the way animals are treated in the food industry. We have had dogs for 30 years. [German shorthairs, 3 at a time] and I can tell you she is absolutely devoted to those dogs. I wish she lived in town here so she could dog sit more often for me !!
Emily has cared for my dog Charlie (a sheepherding mix) for over a year now, he absolutely loves her and is always well cared for! Would recommend to anyone.
