Pet care experience
I grew up with a family cat for about 12 years that I solely took care of. I also went to my grandma’s every day after school where I would take care of her dog and teach her different tricks such as sit, stay, roll over, and no barking. Additionally, I helped my grandma give the dog her medication and go on walks because she was unable to do it herself. I also have experience helping my friend dog-sit her aunt’s dog along with the many Rover clients I have had. One of my roommates has worked at a veterinarian clinic for 2 years treating and taking care of dogs so if anything ever arises and the regular vet is not available she will be more than willing to help out.

The house I live at has a large backyard with a tall wooden privacy fence. I also love to go on walks and runs and would love to take your pet along! There are some small parks nearby and would be more than willing to take your dog with me for a fun outing. I have 3 roommates who are all calm and very loving who each have experience with animals. One has even worked at a veterinarian office/pet resort where she took care of animals giving them medication, playing with them, and doing the normal dog sitting tasks. My roommate has a 5 month old kitten named Honey who is very friendly towards all other animals including dogs. She has been around my roommates two other dogs back in her hometown and is actually best friends with one of the two!

A typical day
I love to go on walks/runs and would be more than willing to take a trip to a local park or around Lady Bird Lake! For the inactive pets out there I also love to just chill, watch TV, and give your pet all the attention they could want and need.

Availability
I am a college student at UT and my classes are online so I have a very flexible schedule. I recently started an internship but I only work Monday 1pm-5pm, Wednesday 9am-1pm, and Thursday 9am-2pm. Other than that I am free most days and if it is okay with you I can do work for a little bit while taking great care of your pet since it is remote. I am usually busy on the weekends but if I know far enough in advance that you need me to work I can reserve the days and times needed. Additionally, I am open to long-term set schedules and am very flexible so will take random and last minute jobs.
