For several years I've volunteered with a local pitbull rescue and made myself available to the foster parents and owners for dog walks, weekend care, and more. For the past year I lived with one of those dogs to help provide the attention she and her sister needed while the owner was busy with work. I love playing with dogs, working on tricks, and really getting to know who the dogs are since each one has unique needs and wants. I've made it a point to treat every dog as if they were my own and really provide the love, guidance, and care they need. Mostly I've been asked to take dogs on walks, but I also stay with dogs in their home while their owners are away.
