I have been a dog lover my entire life, but have never owned a dog of my own because I did not feel I could give it the time and attention it deserves. Since moving to California though, my work schedule has become more flexible, and I would love to host your dog for a long weekend! I have every other Friday off, and can devote the entire three days to giving your dog a vacation of their own. I have dog sat for friends before (including a sick pup that needed a trip to the vet), and lately I have been taking shelter dogs out for "field trips" and working with them on leash manners. However, I would really enjoy caring for a dog full time at home. We live in a 2BD loft-style apartment with several flights of stairs. We are within walking distance of Stevens Creek Trail and Rengstorff Dog Park. I would love to take your dog on longer hikes in the Santa Cruz mountains, or to the beach.
