Pet care experience
I have always lived in a house filled with pets growing up, from cows to dogs to cats to guinea pigs and more. From big to small, I have almost had it all. I strongly believe that pets provide something nurturing and homely that humans do not. I am currently a teacher with a lonesome pup at home and would love to have your pup over so they can enjoy some quality time together, and not to mention the extra pup cuddles.

emily was truly the best house sitter! my fiancé and i are new home owners and were very nervous about leaving our five pets alone in a newish environment with a new person. upon meeting emily i could tell she was going to be a great fit. some of our pets have medical issues and she was asking questions to make sure she understood everything and knew how to care for them properly and in the best way possible. she let us know ahead of time that she did have another job but that wouldn’t hinder her abilities to stay with our babies. she was very caring and made sure to send lots of updates with cute pictures of the pets! emily asked if her boyfriend could stay with her while she was there which we were of course okay with! he also treated the babies like they were his. they were super spoiled the entire time! emily’s dog binks gets along great with our three dogs and they had such a fun time playing around the entire time! she was able to put our worries at ease and our trip was way less stressful knowing our home and pets were well taken care of. i also asked if she would water my garden while we were gone and she even sent me updates of my plants growth! we will definitely be using emily (and hopefully her boyfriend) again in the future. i know that they are 100% safe in their hands!
Would have given her a zero star if that existed. Horrible sitter, had to text her to go to the home after leaving my dogs alone for hours. Hired her as a house sitter and she thought it would be okay to be away for 10 hrs. at a time. You can’t hold your pee for 10 hrs. why would you do that to a dog? She told me this after I left, so I was stuck with her. I had to hire another sitter to drop in to let me dog go out to pee. On the weekend, she couldn’t come by at the times I paid for, or stay at the house to interact with the dogs because her boyfriend was in town. Basically, paid her for house sitting and got drop in visits instead. She didn’t spend more than 10 minutes each time she came by and didn’t stick to the schedule I gave her for feeding the dogs or putting them away. I left her a detail letter explaining their schedule and she showed up at 10 pm to let my dogs out and put them away in the bedroom although I specifically indicated this should be done between 8-830 pm. She was acting like she was doing me a favor, instead of acting like this was a paying job. Even wanted to bring her boyfriend to hang out at my house. If you don’t take your boyfriend to your day job, you can’t bring your boyfriend to this job neither. Will never hire her again. This is the most stressed I’ve ever been while on a trip. I’ve never encountered that sort of unprofessionalism with any sitter in Rover and I’ve been booking for years. Be aware, most likely her reviews are from friends. I’m reporting her to Rover. FYI I have cameras in my house could prove everything I’m writing here.
Had an amazing experience with Emily! My two dogs are very attached to me and wary of strangers but I could tell they had a good time while I was out of town! Received regular updates with pictures of my two babies! Will 100% be booking again for all of my dog sitting needs.

I live in an apartment but it is cozy and there is plenty of room to play or run off and enjoy some alone time basking in the sun. Pups are allowed on all furniture! My pup has plenty of toys to share as well. I am willing to dog sit at your home if that makes you more comfortable, but I ask that I am able to bring my pup along with me as I live alone.

I would like to know how the pup is around other dogs, how the feeding schedule goes, or what the pup might be afraid of/triggered by.
A typical day
I would love to take your puppy on walks around the neighborhood, or drive them to a nearby park or a nearby hiking trail. It really depends on what you're comfortable with. I would often take my dog to the dog park to run around with other pups or we would find a nice trail that was around 3 or 4 miles all-in-all, with water breaks of course. My favorite hiking trails are the ones with surprise waterfalls.

Availability
I am a teacher who lives close to home. I usually leave home around 6:30 a.m. and get back home around 3:30 p.m. depending on the day. I am a homebody, so I spend a lot of time at home. If your pup stay with me, it is my priority to take the pups out as soon as I wake up and I soon as I get home with intermittent breaks from then to bedtime. After I get home from work, I usually take my pup on a walk along with a quick game of fetch at the dog park down the road before we settle in for the afternoon.
