Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits and have had gigs dog walking, dog sitting, and house sitting for friends and neighbors. I grew up in Troutdale and live up in Sandy in the winters where I ski instruct on the mountain. I just finished a thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, 2653 miles from Mexico to Canada, so to say I like walking is an understatement!

Emily has been great for my dog Zeus to be able to get some energy out during my long work days. She’s also been incredibly flexible with us and our schedule the last few weeks. She’s gone above and beyond many times with coming early and leaving late to give him extra time on walks. Definitely someone to trust to take care of your pets well! Very thankful for all the help she’s provided to us.
She’s been saving me when I need someone last min! Zulu has great fun with her.. went on a walk & she even takes him to the park (:
Emily did a great job watching our dog, and I would highly recommend her. Our dog is very timid with behavioral issues, and Emily was very patient with her while she warmed up. She did a great job communicating both before and during the stay, and went above and beyond leaving the house cleaner than we left it.
Amazing & sweet sitter. She showed up early & dropped him off late so Zulu was able to have extra time with her outside. We really appreciated that. We were updated with pics & videos - loved them all. It was a rainy day and Emily still took Zulu to the park - he was a happy & tired puppy when we came home. Overall really happy with Emily. Plan on rebooking with her again (:

I treat dogs like I treat humans, and try my best to listen to their needs and preferences. My dogs are definitely spoiled- they have an electric doggie door that lets them come in and out of the house as they please. My coonhound, Della, was a stray I found on the street while walking my late dog Jackson when she was 3 years old. She has severe behavioral issues so I know how to handle dogs that may not be friendly!
