Pet care experience
I will be a great sitter/walker for your dog because first and foremost, dogs are my passion. I have years of pet sitting experience under my belt and am currently a student at UNCW pursuing an Assistance Dog Trainer Certification. I am currently an intern with paws4people and I care for puppies from 3-20 weeks old on a regular basis. Additionally I have spent a lot time volunteering with a local dog rescue. When it comes to dogs, there is nothing that I would not do for them. Dogs are often one of our best friends in life and they love us unconditionally. I understand just how important your dog is to you which is why I would be sure to take excellent care of your best friend.

Our dog Lola has been boarded since she was a puppy. We have always wanted to find someone to take care of her in our home. After interviewing several people from Rover.com we booked Emily B for 1 week of House/Dog sitting. Emily came to our home and our initial meeting was great. She is a wonderful, warm and kind person! A true lover of dogs! She was great with Lola and we knew immediately she would be a great fit! After our initial meeting Emily came to our home several times to familiarize herself with Lola's routine and our home. While we were away Emily and I text everyday and she also sent several pictures which were wonderful! We arrived home to a happy healthy Lola and a clean, neat home. We could not have asked for a better situation! We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be booking Emily! We highly recommend her!

I would like to know how that dog is while around other dogs or cats. I also would like to know if they can get a little possessive of items such as toys or food. Also, I want to be sure they will be okay with an almost stranger coming into their home. (I will have only met them once before at the Meet & Greet!) I do not have any breed preferences, I enjoy them all!
A typical day
I would take dogs on walks either around the neighborhood that they live in or at Hugh Macrae Park, one of my favorite go-to spots in Wilmington! We would be sure to have plenty of playtime with fun toys and of course the occasional treat! Also, you can be sure that some cuddling will be involved as well!
