Emily is an amazing sitter!! She sent us updates every day and was able to keep it cool with the sometimes-not-so-pretty part of having a dog with a sensitive stomach :( We know our dogs had a great time staying with her for a long weekend and our only fear now is that they like her more than us!

I'm very sorry to leave a negative review for Emily but given the lack of communication and the state my dogs were in I really don't have another choice. I think the issue is that she felt overwhelmed by the amount of care required for my dogs. If you have special needs animals I'd look elsewhere. I'd say that we weren't on the same page in regards to the amount of time they need hands-on care. I wish she had spent more time at home with them and had been more forthcoming about the time she spent away. As a sitter, I make it a priority to be at home with the dogs I'm watching rather than following my usual schedule. We did need our neighbor to check in on them & let them out because she was gone for hours at a time. With one dog in a crate, it was simply not ideal. He had ripped his dog bed to shreds and the debris was not removed from the crate which is an issue. He also clearly urinated in the crate and no bedding was removed. I'd probably book her if you have easy to care for dogs. I do want to say she was flexible when we found out our foster would indeed be in her care for the weekend.
