Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs who have anxiety and similar issues, as well as dogs with allergies. I also have experience with cats and I trained my own anxious dog. I have evacuated storms with my pets and keep my car prepared for travel with dogs in case that is needed and I have found dogs and worked with rescues on a few occasions

Emily is an incredibly kind, dependable, and trustworthy employee. She goes above and beyond with all of her job responsibilities consistently. Emily is also a very compassionate person, always willing to help. I’ve seen her in action with her own pets and the pets of others, and I would hire her to pet sit for my two GSDs and 2 kitties anytime!
Emily loves dogs. Emily loves cats. Emily loves all animals. You could not find a better person to love on your fur baby. She can walk, feed and snuggle with them all. She follows the rules you set and does not go against them. No treats unless they are approved by the owner. Feeds them on the schedule time that is set by the owner. Her own dog is a lovable mutt who is very well cared for. You could not go wrong using her services.
I’ve used Emily to dog sit since 2016. I have an older Jack Russell terrier with special food and medication requirements. I’ve even had to have her watch him for an extended period of time during an internship and she took excellent care of him. Emily has always gone above and beyond to make sure Scooter is taken care of and played with. She regularly updates me and sends pictures while I’m away.
Emily is an absolute amazing dog sitter! On top of having an incredibly well trained dog of her own she’s great at dealing with anxious dogs like mine. I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who has severe separation anxiety and is terribly behaved around strangers and Emily is one of the only people who has enough patience to deal with her. She really took the time gaining my dogs trust and it’s really paid off. Won’t let anyone else watch my dog but her!

I live in a second floor one bed room apartment near a dog park. I do not have roommate, just a dog who does well with other dogs and is well behaved off leash. If Rosie does not get along with your dog then she will voluntarily go in her crate, but she is usually okay with furry houseguests and has been around cats her entire life.

Is your dog crate trained? potty trained? Allergies? most importantly is how is your dog when they're away from you? my own dog has some separation anxiety, so I would like to know the most appropriate way to help your dog cope.
A typical day
In your neighborhood we'll go around the block a few times, in my neighborhood we'll walk around my building and to the small dog run on the property. I am also a regular at the local dog park where I have relationships with all the regular pets and owners.

Availability
I am a grad student and I have my own dog, so those things take up most of my time, but I only have class twice a week and my dog is friendly with other dogs and crate trained. There are times when I will be out of town as my family lives in another state, but I am generally pretty flexible.
