I'm a stay at home mom with an energetic 4 year old son who loves animals. We have an outdoor cat that he plays with outside a good portion of the day. We love dogs and would eventually like to get one but we haven't found the one we want (boston terrier). We are home almost everyday so I thought it would be fun to start dog sitting (it can get pretty boring being cooped up in the house in the winter). We have dog sat for my grandma many times who had 5 dogs. And I also babysit a 2.5 year old who loves animals as well. So the dog would be getting lots of attention.
