I'm a Gonzaga graduate who loves animals more than humans. I have had animals around my entire life. I've been complimented a lot through my life on my ability to connect with any animal. For a couple of years in high school, I cared for an elderly Australian Shepherd down the street with hearing and vision impairment as well as anxiety and arthritis for an hour every day after class, taking him for a walk or playing with him indoors, as well giving him special food and medications. I became very good friends with him. I volunteered for a summer at the Whidbey Animals Improvement Foundation socializing abandoned cats to make them fit for adoption, which was incredibly rewarding. I've even kept chickens and helped to care for a horse and some cows at one point. I've gotten so used to being around animals in my daily life, so being in college has been difficult to get used to being without them. I would appreciate a job that also allows me that great source of happiness that I miss in my life. My husband loves animals as well. We will both provide loving and careful attention for your pet.
