Pet care experience
I've had, and taken care of, pets my entire life. I've been a foster mom to kittens (and a camp counselor at my local SPCA), and I've taken care of dogs of all ages and needs. As for myself, I have a senior rescue dog who lives with my parents on their 4 acres! In the fall and winter, you may find me crocheting her a new sweater. In the past, I've had a wide range of beloved pets, from cats and dogs to hamsters and fish. Growing up with pets and in the woods has developed a love for animals of all kinds.

Every pet is vastly different, so I've learned how to accommodate different needs. Whatever dietary needs, medications, exercise, or daily habits your pet is used to, I'm happy to meet those needs to keep them happy. I have my own transportation, so if a trip to the vet is needed, I can easily do that. When staying at homes, I bring my own food and clean up after myself, and am happy to get the mail, take the garbage out, or do any other household chores that are needed! I also always send photos and updates so you can see how much fun we're having together :) I've also been known to throw in a pet portrait with the furry animals I get to spend time with!

I always like to know about your pet's needs beforehand! I'll ask you about their friendliness towards other dogs if we go on walks together, and any training/commands they might respond to. For more involved care, It's always important to know about dietary restrictions, medications, special needs, daily routines, and emergency vet contacts. We all know dogs are family, so there's a lot to know!
A typical day
The fun activities we do depends on what your pet qualifies as fun! We can go on hikes/walks (I love patterson and stoney run), play catch or with other favorite toys, or even take a nap together if that's their thing!

I work from home- I have control over my own schedule and am flexible in taking care of your pets! I take oral chemo & have limited energy so I prefer not to stack my schedule too high.
