Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life and have been caring for others’ animals for around 10 years. I started by taking on some of the pets of families that I nannied for, and quickly transitioned from children to animals completely. I was raised with three bichons and three cats, and several other little critters (fish, hamsters, guinea pigs). As our dogs grew to an older age, they required IV medications, as well as tablet and liquid medications. I quickly grew comfortable and confident with administering these medications, and am very happy to help your pet with their medication schedule. Overall, I provide only the highest standard in care, as I would want for my own animals.

Emilie is a pet lover. She has two cats, and had three dogs, who have all passed away now. She misses them tremendously. She pet sits for several people, both in their homes and in her own. She is very responsible, reliable and goes over and above the usual duties expected of a pet sitter.

A typical day
Number one fun thing to do with an active dog? Run around! If you have a fenced in yard, I will be sure to get some zoomies out by playing catch, running around with your little friend, honestly doing whatever to help them get some exercise! If you do not have a fenced in space, no worries! I love dog parks and long walks around the neighborhood! If there is one thing you shouldn’t have to worry about, it’s the amount of exercise your pet is getting while you’re on a trip.

Availability
I work full time from home with great flexibility. I am online from around 8 am to 6 pm, but I am obviously not actively working that entire time. Because I do work from home, if you need someone to stay at your house, I can be there all day everyday. My weekends are completely free.
