Hello! My name is Emilee and I am 24 years old. I recently graduated from Otterbein University with a degree in Equine Sciences: Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I plan on attending veterinary school next fall, and someday opening a veterinary cardiology clinic, as well as continuing research on canine Dilated Cardiomyopathy. I grew up around dogs, cats, and horses, and I have some experience with exotic animals, as well as other farm animals. I have also worked as a veterinary assistant for six years. I hope to meet you and your pets soon!

Emilee was the perfect choice for our diabetic pup. We needed someone who was able to give an insulin shot, which can be a big ask on Rover. Emilee took great care giving our pup her dinner, insulin and a short potty walk before completing her visit. 10/10 highly recommend!
Emilee is great! She won over our shy/nervous dog which is no easy feat. She checked in with us daily with photos and updates. We are very grateful :)

I am able to notice signs of illness in small animals and horses, and provide basic care until we can get veterinary care.

I would like to know your pet’s gender, age, and breed before I watch them. I am open to all dogs, no matter their age or breed, but I would just like to know what I will be walking into!
A typical day
I have experience training service dogs, so I would be willing to work on any basic training you want! I am also willing to play fetch (which is my dog’s favorite), tug, or any other game your dog may enjoy!

I am currently work at a veterinary hospital and I am completing my Masters degree, as I begin to prepare for veterinary school next fall. That being said, I still have a lot of time to spend with your beloved pets!
