Pet care experience
I have been a per sitter for six years now, and I love every moment I’ve had so far! I'm good at reinforcing rules for pets while also being a comforting presence! I too enjoy long walks so your four-legged family members will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I'm excellent at following instructions and can learn quickly, should your dog(s) need the extra bit of time it takes to figure out exactly what they need! My home is welcome to both young and old pets. They will be treated like family because I know I would want nothing less for my own furry friends. Baths and other minor grooming is available! Belly rubs and warm praise come free of charge.

This was our second time using Emilee and she was perfect yet again! Literally the best. She’s so good with the cats and takes awesome photos. Definitely recommend her and will use her again and again!
Emilee was perfect! I’m so happy we found her. She took great care of our 2 cats, who are both pretty shy but seemed to warm right up to her - always a good sign. She always sent great pictures, which was so nice. Definitley the best.

During the day when your pet is hanging out in my apartment, we all stay in the fenced in living room. This room has been dog-proofed for everyone’s safety. All toys are made with recycled, pet-safe materials from West Paw. All plants are pet-safe and out of reach. There are numerous dog beds around and a couch where your dog can lounge away. On hot days I have air conditioning and numerous fans. At night, if you are boarding your dog with me, we all stay in the bedroom. There are many dog beds in there as well, along with air conditioning, fans, and access to the bed itself as long as they do not shed too much. My space is also my own dogs space so you can trust that everything is safe and very comfortable!

If your dog is not house trained, please let me know beforehand so I can make the proper arrangements! If your dog has any special diets, toys, or other restrictions please let me know prior to drop off. Any tips or tricks for caring for your dog will also be greatly appreciated!
A typical day
An average day with me consist of walks along Ocean Parkway Mall, or towards Prospect Park. Park time is an hour or more typically, or until the dogs tell me they are ready to leave. Beach days (please ask for more info on these!) are about four hours, though these trips can vary. Inside, I have plenty of toys and enrichment games for pets. I believe in stimulating a pet and keeping them engaged to ward off stress and anxiety, and my toys and gear reflects that!

Availability
I work from home so your dog will always have my attention. I go out for a minimum of three walks a day, averaging around 30 minutes each. I also incorporate a longer walk to the Kensington Dog Run on sunny days as often as I can (typically every other day). On particularly hot days I drive to Hillside Dog Run in Dumbo where there is more shade for the dogs. On occasion for longer dog daycare days and boarding I offer a beach day to Longport Dog Beach in New Jersey for an extra fee ($10- covers travel costs). This outing depends on the dogs and weather. Please let me know if you’re interested in the beach trip when initially booking!
