Pet care experience
I work in the veterinary field so i have experience with all kinds of animals. My family looks to me for pet care and love! I have a cat of my own who’s been my best friend since i was 5, we grew up together and he’s my handsome old man. He’s 17, going strong! You’ll find pictures of him in my gallery ❤️

Emelinda is very meticulous with her pet care and a very loving soul, I have two small dogs of my own a Maltipoo and a Toy Poodle, Benji (a boy) and Goldie (a girl), are very cute and lovely but they can be a handful as they're the first dogs I've owed. Being a first time pet parent can be stressful especially when you life is hectic and a family emergency comes up and you need to leave the city the same day. Emelinda came over when nobody else was available and took wonderful care of my babies. They are slow to get very comfortable with people but when I came back they didn't want her to go, she even managed to cut their nails and they HATE that no matter how gentle I am with them. She's truly amazing.
A couple of months back I was going away on a trip with my children for a week and a half. I have a 2 year old cat named missy who absolutely despises everyone that isn’t me or my children, and even with me she can get a bit aggressive. Emelinda is family to me and she’s always been an animal lover, her veterinary experience being a plus so it was a no brainer to ask her to help out. Missy reacted exactly the way i expected her to. She was all hisses and growls, but this didn’t bother emelinda. She didn’t try to force her to get along, but would simply co exist with her and make sure she gets fed on time, keeping the litter clean. Missy hid for a couple of days but when she finally came out of hiding and sat a reasonable distance away, emelinda immediately updated me with enthusiasm. She always let me know what was going on throughout the day and provided videos and photos. Despite my cat not being the dream kitty most people would think they’d be sitting, emelinda didn’t mind. I trust her to continue to take care of missy if i ever needed to go on another trip, and her care was evident in the fact that missy eventually began tolerating her presence. She’ll always be welcome in this crazy cat lady’s household!

My fur baby lived in a huge home that my dad used to rent out rooms in, he has the basement entirely to himself until we had to sell it to help pay for my education. Now he lives with me and my parents in our apartment and loves to sleep in one corner of my bed or the top of the couch right above my dads head. He will occasionally take naps on his scratching board and lounge about, hopping up to my face to ask for head rubs and lovins’

I always take great care to listen and note instructions. If I am caring for a puppy and you are in the midst of training, let me know and I can help reinforce commands while I am with your pet. A typical day
As a large and giant breed dog lover, I know very well how high maintenance and energetic most dogs are, often when taking care of dogs of all sizes I tend to atleast take them for a walk once a day for about 1-2 hours. Allowing them to explore on leash. Working in the vet field i have expansive knowledge of all kinds of breeds, brachycephalic breeds like Pugs and bulldogs go for a much shorter walk, especially in warmer weather. Depending on the neighborhood we go to dog parks for a short while to socialize with other dogs. While at home I do my best to engage and bond with the dogs I’m with to help build trust and offer entertainment. I will never force an animal to interact with me if they’re on the more shy side or aggressive. I always make sure to respect the animal while also establishing that the respect needs to be reciprocated. This way In cases where I need to be hands on or administer medications, The process may go more smoothly. Overall, depending on the breed, size, age and owners instructions, I make sure to adapt to keep the dog both entertained and comfortable.
