I have been around dogs my whole life; not only owning them, but watching them for friends and neighbors as well. I love running, walking, and playing with dogs and getting their energy out! I recently moved back home to the broomfield area to live with family so my boyfriend and I can save for a house of our own. During one of my semesters at CSU I took a volunteering class that involved helping disabled and elderly people take care of their pets (mostly dogs) by walking them and playing with them in longer stretches than their owners could. I love dogs of all sizes, even the biggest and fluffiest. I'm not afraid to interact with any breed or size of dogs, they are all great. I have three dogs of my own: one old man Max, and two puppies that just turned one, Daisy Mae and Smokey. I am not currently certified in dog first aid and CPR, but I do have knowledge of both.

Every thing is in great shape after we got back and my cat had a good time! We had constant updates and would definitely love to have Emelie catsit for us in the future!
Emelie did a great job watching my puppy! She sent me the cutest photos at the end of the day, and I knew my pup was in good hands.
Emelie has been wonderful with my dog, Sasha. Anytime Sasha sees Emelie, she gets super excited and is so happy. Emelie always treats Sasha as if she was her own dog and loves to spoil her rotten. I'd highly recommend you use Emelie as your next dog sitter!

I have three dogs of my own that all require different care and attention! I have to administer oral medication, injections, and topical eye creams to my oldest, along with different supplements/medications for the other two. I either walk all three together or each dog separately twice a day! I love playing with pets and giving them lots of love and attention outside of just walking or feeding.

I don't have any breed specifications, but it is important to me to know how your dog behaves around other dogs since I do have 3 of my own. I also need to have verification that all of your dog's vaccinations are up to date, which is information I will provide about my own dogs should yours stay with me. Obviously any allergies or important information regarding your dog will be helpful. Also, if your dog has any quirks or special requests you want to share, I am willing to listen!
A typical day
You can expect that I will take your pooch out and about as long as needed if they have the stamina! I have walked/ran large dogs on a waist lead, or taken slow leisurely walks with elderly pups too. I walk my own dogs from my home along the trails near me, and around the open spaces we can get to. I have lots of toys to entertain a pooch inside or outside, and I also love a good snuggle on the couch.

Availability
My current job is allows me lots of free time to take care of pets! I am free in the evenings almost every day, all day Fridays and Saturdays. Depending on what shift I am scheduled, I can also come by mornings or during the day.
