Hello folks, I live near downtown St Paul. I own two cats and a pittie mix who has changed my life for the better! I love meeting new animals and experiencing their personalities. I took my pup in from the Humane Society and she's done wonders for my anxiety, and made me realize after a long time of not having a dog, that they truly are companions. I love my cats, but dogs love you back, and it's an amazing experience! My dog is about 60lbs and a very excited walker. I have a chest harness for her, and have no issues controlling her. If you have a larger dog, please let me know if you do not have a harness for walking. I love meeting new dogs and am more than happy to work on training or just playing during visits. I do not have experience with animals who need medication other than pills or oral liquid. I'm also happy to give your pet a brushing if you'd like. I know how excited my dog is to see me when I get home, and I see visits as a way to remind your dog that while you can't be there, you're still thinking of them and sending them some love and attention. When I was younger, we picked up a smaller mixed breed from the side of the road who was matted, half blind, and older. He needed some medications and a little extra help getting comfortable after being left out on the street. Very familiar with special needs pups. Important note: I am available after 4:30 pm most weekdays, I do have some Fridays available! Most weekends are open. At this time I am not accepting stays.
