I work from home and hang out with my 3 personal Boston Terriers everyday. I also foster for a rescue organization and have done so for 7 years, so I consider myself very experienced in dog sitting all behaviors. I am very protective of my dogs and my guest dogs, and never leave them unsupervised. We don't spend much time outside when it's hot due to the heat intolerance of the breeds I own. I can adapt to having dogs with different rules and schedules as I often have to rehabilitate rescue dogs and keep them completely on their own training, feeding, and medical schedule separate than my own spoiled dogs :). I do the same with dogs I dogsit and follow the structure you pass on to me. I have a house in northwest Austin with a modest sized back yard with a secure privacy fence, perfect for small to medium sized dogs. They never go outside unsupervised! I also have a great neighborhood for walking as there are shady sidewalks to follow and little to no traffic (although I don't take any non-personal dogs on walks in my neighborhood unless owner specifically asks me to). Your dog can have a bedroom setup for sleep time where they could sleep in a crate or dog bed if requested. Your dog could play with my dogs if you want and the dog seems like a good personality match to mine or your dog(s) could be kept separate from mine if you'd prefer; however, during busy times / holidays, I can not always accommodate dogs that wouldn't be a good fit with my personal dogs. I do require guest dogs to be spayed/neutered if they are old enough. I also prefer to watch smaller breeds or lower-energy dogs (if it's a large breed). I don't have the yard size and my dogs don't have the energy to sufficiently wear out a larger/working breed dog.
