I grew up in a home that fostered "problem" dogs on top of having four dogs of its own. My parents made sure that I understood the responsibility of owning a dog, as well as how to properly care for them. As I got older, I used this knowledge as a prevalent dog sitter and walker in my small hometown community. I am now in graduate school at U of M studying Conservation Ecology. I have previously worked as a dog caretaker at my hometown humane society, crisis advocate for victims of domestic violence, raptor caretaker for education birds, and laboratory technician. While I was working at the humane society, I adopted a puppy and have been able to watch how my experience has translated to a fully house-trained, dog and human loving, good walking girl. I love working with animals and applying my skill set to helping pups feel safe and happy when their owners are away.
