My pets get feed twice daily and they have filtering water bowls that are constantly running and I always check if they water is full and change/clean them when needed

A typical day
We will go one walks. To the state park or other outdoor places. Maybe even the pet store to pick out a new toy. A treat scavenger hunt either indoors or outdoors
