Like most of us, I am an avid animal lover with furry friends of my own! Unlike most, I have a wide variety of experience in animal care. I have a rich and extensive history, beginning in elementary school as a Volunteer Walker and Junior Dog Trainer for the Lawrence Humane Society. From an early age have dedicated my free time to exercising and socializing with the Humane Societies dogs, cats, and small animals. Throughout my life, I would dog walk and pet sit for any friend or neighbor in need. Into my collegiate years, I remained a dog walker for the Lawrence Humane Society, along with working as a Veterinary Assistant for Gage Animal Hospital, assisting as an Undergraduate Researcher in Dr. Michi Tobler's fish evolution research lab, caretaking as a Pet Foster for the Riley County Humane Society, and volunteering as an Animal Handler and Assistant Zookeeper at the Manhattan Sunset Zoo, just to name a few! It was a natural progression to I began my career with Rover as a Pet Sitter in 2019. Post graduation, I am proud to say that I carried with me my passion for animal care. While in Manhattan, KS, I worked for the Sunset Zoo as an Education Animal Keeper. It was my role to train and supervise volunteers as they built their skills in animal husbandry and welfare. I love that I was able to continue pet-sitting part time with Rover and building a regular clientele. Since moving to Lincoln 2 years ago, I have built a strong community. Despite working as a full time Laboratory Technician, I continue to volunteer my animal care abilities as a volunteer at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. Along with my career and volunteer efforts, I am thrilled to maintain a thriving part-time pet-sitting business. I love providing unique experiences for your pet, while upholding their established agendas.
