My name is Elycia and I'm a professionally certified dog care provider. I received my certificate from Langara College in 2015; my training included dog first aid, dog behaviour, dog walking, operating a dog walking business and city by-laws. I have been around and working with dogs since I became a dog mom for the first time (a sheltie) at the age of eight and began training her in agility. I owned and operated a professional dog walking business (Peppy Tails) with my husband for a couple years. During the course of running that business we performed thousands of walks with a 100% safety record. Unfortunately, we had to shut down that business to focus on other personal matters. Since then, our own amazing senior dogs have passed away and though we weren’t sure we were ready for another...within the year, Remy came along and wiggled his cute butt into our hearts! I'm only available on a part time basis as I also work as a camera assistant in the film industry and own and operate a pet supply shop (fylo pets). However, all my free time is dedicated to caring for animals so i'm happy to discuss your service needs! For boarding, my building has a dog restriction of up to two and under 40lbs :( but if your pup meets the building restriction we'd love to be their host! My husband works from home so even though I will be the primary caretaker, if I need to leave while we're hosting your pup they will never be alone (my husband has the same qualifications and love for dogs as I do!). Rest assured that when I'm caring for your dog they will be loved and extremely well cared for! :)
