Hi! My name is Elsie and I want to be your pet's new BFF. Having grown up with and been around animals my whole life, I understand that your pet is a part of the family. That's why I treat any and all pets with the utmost respect, keeping them as comfortable and happy as possible while their people are away. I have been a regular pet sitter for a number of families for 5+ years now, but have over 10 years of personal experience with animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. Understanding that each animal is different, I use a patient approach to getting to know your pet's individual personality in order to create and sustain an agreeable bond. I currently work full-time on a hybrid schedule, working 2-3 days/week from home. I typically work from 8-4, but my schedule is fairly flexible, particularly on days I am working from home. I can offer a few walks throughout the day and overnight petsitting at your home. I am not currently accepting petcare in my own home. In your home, I will make sure to stick to your pet's usual schedule so as to keep things as normal as possible for them while you are away.

Elsie was great with my cat, for a pretty long first cat sitting (for 8 days). I was little nervous as it was my first time using Rover, and she was new to is as well. She suggested an in person meet and greet, which is a great option, and with that felt comfortable with her and also her experience. She was responsive to my questions etc by email after that. My cat was glad to see her when she came by after to drop off keys, so he recommends her too!
For many years I have witnessed Elsie's passion for animals and seen firsthand how responsibly she tends to them. Not only does Elsie have two happy and healthy fur children of her own, but she is often called upon by family friends and neighbors to babysit their animals for short or extended trips away from home. Elsie has spent time living on a farm where she was responsible for upkeep of the farm and horses in addition to all house pets living on the property, often with short notice, and she has often cared for my horse in my absence, or when I've been busy and he could use some extra love. She is attentive, trustworthy, and will go above and beyond for your pet.
I have known Elsie for several years now and in that time we have worked together, become friends, and rode horses together. She is trustworthy and of good character and I can clearly see her love for animals big and small. She is the only other person I have allowed to ride my horse in shows and I would truly be at a loss without her friendship and spirit.
