Loving and intuitive dog watcher!
Pet care experience
I have raised two labs and now have a 3.5 year-old jack russel mix terrier. I am a responsible adult who understands how to lead and take care of dogs. Since caring for my terrier, I have learned that dogs thrive with an assertive but loving guardian, and that exercise is usually the answer to all problems! I am working remotely and so my schedule is very flexible. I usually walk my own dog between 4 and 5 miles every morning, and I understand the importance of being able to get outside. I have reliable transportation and can get almost anywhere in the Valley. I would love to spend time with different types of dogs. I love to take care of dogs and provide friends for my little buddy.

Ellyn was great with our dogs, she spent time playing with Rico and Rufus, brushing Toby and relaxing with them. We loved the pictures and text on how they were doing, This was the first time we have left our dogs with anyone and it was a possitive experience.

I have no breed preferences, but my little buddy does the best with confident dogs. If your dog is naturally very submissive or scared, my dog can become more dominant. He loves to play but does best with dogs who display confident behavior.
A typical day
There are several neighborhood trails nearby, as well as the stadium across the street with hiking trails and the natural preserve. My dog and I are out there every morning, no matter how cold it is :) We have tons of toys here and we play fetch and tug-of-war. We can practice tricks for treats.
