PAWsome animal care

Pet care experience

Growing up on a farm I have lived around animals my whole life. Have always has a connection with the critters. They become part of the family. When I was a bit older I started sitting for other people and their animals. Unfortunately our furry babies can't go everywhere with us, but that's ware I can fill the gap. If you love animals and really conect with them then you know. It takes some one trustworthy and loving to care for your pet. If you have any questions always contact me.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a stricter pet care policy. Outlineing the animals needs, along with wants. Their safty is always in mind. Fun within boundaries. Some still find ways to get in trouble. That is why I always have an emergency kit handy regardless of the service needed. I keep up on animal first aid. After all, I'm there for your snuggle baby. They are your pet(s). I would expect the same for mine. We can learn alot from animals. The ones ive been blessed with have taught me dependably, honesty, and loyalty. Along with if it's not your toy don't touch it, unless you have permission.

Information Elllicia D. would like to know about your pet

Things that are helpful to know are size, agility, needs leave, likes and dislikes, favorite items, treats or snacks preferences, allergies, training level, anything that may change there behavior such as a bird or other small critter. Do they know tricks? Can they swim? Do they like car rides? Always good things to cover. I do bring allergy free treats (for dog and cat) to calm the nurves. After all, its their territory. Even though I've been trained in animal behavior recognition please let me know how your pet handles strangers on your property. This is important for the safty of me, as well as them. Anxity in pet can make for an unsatisfied visit. This can give me an idea of what I'm walking into as well. First time booking me? No problem. I can give you tips to help prepare them to be familiar with me. Consider a meet up. I do bring a toy with me that is special to the care. Knowing their preferences would aid in a more fun experience for them.

A typical day

Moat dogs are content playing their favorite games, getting treats and belly scratches. Depending on the dog depends what we do. The dogs that like to go for walks I take to to local trails. The ones that like to swim and are command trained I can take to the off leash palo training grounds by the lake. When they are smaller and not able to walk as far, I use a stroller so they don't get too tired. Then we see the town.
