Hi there! We are a queer, pet loving couple living in the Oakland Hills. We are both Smith College Alums (go pioneers!). We have been caring for animals in some form for over 10 years. Elliot has volunteered at the SPCA in Hong Kong as well as for Animal Haven in New York City. Charlotte was raised with cats and dogs her whole life. Skills include: turning into mush at the sight of puppies, belly rubs, having long conversations with only meows, and giving all the love and attention your pets needs. We will always follow your guidelines for care and are available for as many walks or potty breaks your animal may need. We will never take it upon ourselves to discipline your pet unless you have specific requirements for us to do so. Elliot is currently in a schooling program, so Charlotte will probably be taking the lead on most pet sittings. Charlotte works from home so she has a flexible schedule to accommodate the routine that works best for your pets. We have lots of love to give and will always treat your animals with the love and respect they deserve <3

Elliot and Charlotte were awesome. Great listeners and communicators, and flexible with drop off and pick up. They were honest with updates and really tailored care based on our input.
Uinta had an amazing time and I felt very safe and secure while I was out of town. Great pictures and updates throughout and very clear communication. I would feel comfortable having Uinta stay over again any time.

We have lots of space indoors to run around and play! We use baby gates to provide sectioned off areas in case there are multiple animals in the home who need solo time or individual play time. We have a fully gated outdoor space to play and go potty.

A typical day
A dog stay with us depends on your dog and what you ask for. If they love to be social, then there will be lots of park time, but if they like their solo time, then we can just take strolls around the beautiful neighborhood and have lots of cuddles indoors. Once I get to know your dog's likes/dislikes, we can tailor a walk that suits them best. I am happy to discuss this with you and come up with a plan that works best for your pet.

Availability
Charlotte works part-time from home so she is very adaptable in scheduling and has flexibility to give your pets care and attention whenever they need! Elliot is more present during the weekends where he will be available all day and evening for animal cuddles!
