I have had a dog of my own since I was nine years old and I've been around dogs my whole life. I adore them! I have had neighbors ask for me to watch their dogs while they are away and they keep coming back. And my dog loves walking with me- she is eleven years old and still loving it! I know what kind of love and attention goes into caring for a dog no matter the size or age, and I would love to be the person to give your dog that care when you don't have the time! I am more than happy to follow any special instructions or oddly specific rituals: if it makes you and your dog happy, it makes me happy! Thank you for considering me to look after your beloved pet :) PS I am fully vaccinated & boosted but will wear a mask at all times around you and in your space if requested! I use he/they pronouns!

Every dog is different and has its own unique needs, but I am more than willing to accommodate any requests or suggestions you may have for the best care of your dog! I can walk them, take them to a local dog park, hang out with them indoors-- whatever makes both you and your dog happiest!
Information Elliot G. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know if the dog has any problems dealing with certain environments or if they tend to tug or drag behind while walking. If so, are there commands or reward systems in place for them? I'll also ask for a meet and greet before the first walk/visit so I can meet you and your dog and get a feel for how your home is set up. This is for both my comfort and your dog's! I'm very flexible when it comes to keys, whatever you're most comfortable with is fine by me! I'll also need to know if your dog responds to their name/whistles, where you dispose of poop, where you keep their food/bowls/leash, and if you are able to let them off-leash in your yard/a dog park!
A typical day
I'm very comfortable with walking dogs on the street and keeping them close and safe. My favorite places to walk are wooded trails or (if your dog is sociable) dog parks! If there are any places like that near your home, please let me know!
