-Passionate about animal welfare -Currently work as a volunteer at an animal shelter in Seattle -Grew up around pitties - they have a special place in my heart <3 -I love taking care of dogs and making meaningful connections with them -I work with any type of dog (If they need running, extra love, careful attention, or work on commands, I love it all) - I am not afraid to take on new tasks and challenges. I am flexible and can do whatever you need to best help your dog -I am available for house sitting and will make sure your pets stick to their schedule and get lots of love and exercise while you’re away! I’m very flexible- please don’t hesitate to let me know what special care they need :)

I currently do not have any of my own pets as I moved into a condo and would prefer to have my own pet once I have adequate space and a yard. I'm very mindful of pets needs so I usually go to clients homes and either spend the day, or multiple nights there to tend to their needs in the most comfortable environment for them! Depending on the dog, I am able to watch them at my own home, but would require additional details.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs to attend to, medications they need to take, personality traits (i.e. things they especially dislike/love) so that I know what things to be mindful of or stay away from. Any information on their usual schedule, types of activities/lengths of walks they usually go on, etc. is very helpful. I also have a lot of experience working with reactive dogs, so working with dogs that are not friendly with other dogs is OK (I know how to steer them away). I especially love pittie breeds, so any chance I get to watch them I take!
A typical day
I will do anything that suits your dog's needs! I especially enjoy taking dogs on long walks through my nearby park, taking them to the water on a hot day, throwing the ball for them in the backyard - I truly love it all. Not only will they get adequate physical exercise, but I also love creating mental games for them: hide and seek, treats in a cardboard box they get to destroy (and have fun doing so), working on commands, etc. Through my experience of many years volunteering for animal shelters, I've picked up a lot of fun things to do with dogs to keep them entertained!

I currently work from home and am very flexible with timing of pet care as long as I have a good amount of notice! I'm able to either work from your home to take care of your pet all day, or pop in for a quick walk if that's all they need!
