Heya I’m Ellie! I worked part-time at a doggy daycare for over a year and was raised in a large family that always had several animals. I worked on Rover in the US for years before moving over to NI and adopting an elderly springer spaniel. Since he passed away a couple of years ago, I’m back on Rover to have dogs around. My home is conveniently located in south Belfast and I can bike to locations nearby (I do have access to a car if/when it would be truly needed). Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding my experience. Why I love dog sitting: I have always had dogs in my life and as a part of my family. I began pet walking as a kid and then dog sitting in early college. At the beginning of my 4th year of university I was hired at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I love that it's a flexible way to have loveable dogs around without the long-term commitment. My experience administering medication: I have no problems administering medications. I will usually consult the owner to see what tricks they may use (if any) to help the dog consume their medications as easily as possible. I have experience with using pill pockets, peanut butter or nothing at all while administering medications.
