I am Stanford undergraduate studying to become a veterinarian. Because I am a student, I have a flexible schedule. My pre-vet course load is preparing me to be a veterinarian, but is also teaching me extensively about the best ways to interact with animals. I have extensive dog experience as I was a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind throughout high school. As a puppy raiser, I learned how to manage the different situations that can arise when training puppies and dogs. I believe firmly in interacting with dogs in a loving and thoughtful way and I found that through volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind I was able to see just how wonderful a positive method of interaction can be for both humans and dogs. Puppies and dogs are my passion in life and I love nothing more than to spend a day cuddling, walking, and playing with these wonderful companions.
