Puppies are my specialty! I have worked at a dog kennel, and have a degree in Animal Science. I have had many years of experience caring for and training dogs, both my own and for others, though I have not trained dogs professionally. I have been training and competing in agility for about 8 years and have attended multiple dog training classes and seminars that have given me tools to work with a variety of dogs. I also have extensive experience with trick training as well. I have volunteered to work with less adoptable dogs at our local animal shelter and have fostered multiple puppies through a local rescue. I am also able to provide board and training services upon request for the following- puppy house training, puppy manners/training, basic manners, basic obedience, leash walking etc. We have fostered/ watched dogs of all ages and I am comfortable administering medications. We live in a very quiet neighborhood, and we recently fenced our yard, and will make your dog feel at home while you're away!

Ellie and her family treated my puppy like one of their own. I received so many photos and videos every day of her dogs and family playing with my young pup. He was so sad to leave their house after over a week of playing! Highly recommend :)
I am very pleased with my experience with Ellie taking care of my dog, Cooper this past week. She kept me informed of his activities & shared pictures of him playing with her dogs. Her nice fenced & shaded back yard was a great place for fun and exercise. I would definitely recommend Ellie to others and would love to contact her again for a future boarding/stay.

I have a fenced in yard and dogs are not left out unsupervised. I have three friendly dogs to keep your pup company and provide an outlet for energy expending. I kennel dogs while I am out of the house for the safety of all and have the ability to gate off sections of my house when dogs need a break from each other. Food is fed separately either in a kennel or in a gated area of the house.

Please let me know if your dog is able to be kenneled. May be able to work with smaller breeds that don’t kennel on an individual basis, otherwise the preference is that they are kennel trained for safety. Dogs must get along with other dogs and not have issues with young children that have appropriate dog manners.
A typical day
I have a fenced in yard with toys and agility equipment safe for all dogs. We can play fetch, games of chase or even relaxing outside depending on weather. I have puzzle toys and puzzle feeders if brain work is what your dog needs. Can provide baths/ coat blow outs/ major brushing beyond maintenance and nail trims upon request as long as dog is willing enough for it to be safe.

I work in an office full time so dogs will be fed, pottied and briefly exercised in the mornings before work and will be exercised and let out when I am home. Dogs will be home for about 8 hours on weekdays. Dogs will be kenneled or penned separately during this time depending on the individual dog’s needs. Fed in the evenings and out playing most of the afternoon/ evening until bedtime.
