Ellie was outstanding. This was the first time we needed a caregiver for our two dogs for an extended period of time and our experience with Ellie could not have been better. She stayed with them in our home for 5 days/4 nights and helped us to feel at ease with some texted updates while we were away and even a couple of pictures. There is nothing like having peace of mind when you're away from home and from your furry family members. We know that being able to keep them in their own home and on their regular routines made a huge difference in the experience and stress level not only for us but definitely for our dogs as well. Perhaps most important: from the first meeting we all had with Ellie prior to her stay, both of our dogs absolutely loved her and seemed to feel completely relaxed & comfortable with her, and she with them. When we arrived home everything was just as we'd left it for both our home and our dogs. I'd also like to let anyone who is considering hiring Ellie know that when she came to stay with our dogs, they had both been treated with some medication for some GI/stomach issues and required a little extra care & attention during her stay. When we talked with Ellie about this prior to booking her, she was warm and open about the situation, and asked very intelligent questions to get additional details/clarification and to make sure she had all the information she needed to do a good job. She ended up providing wonderfully patient and loving care to both of our dogs for the duration of her stay. We truly cannot say enough good things about Ellie, and can't thank her enough for her wonderful service! Easily a 5-star rating - would give her more if we could! We will definitely hire her again in the future. What a wonderful experience!
